確認問題２（It is ～不定詞＆too～不定詞）
（１）To sleep well at night is important.

この問題は長い主語を短くするために(仮主語）にして(真主語）を文の後ろに付ける文章です。
それでは考えていきましょう。
主語は＝To sleep well at night
動詞は＝is
補語は＝important
この文を(仮主語)[It] に置き換えます。
It is + [補語] ＋ [不定詞]＋ ～ ．
important To sleep well at night
It is important to sleep well at night.
(夜にうまく寝ることは大事です。）
（２）She is too happy to sit down.
She is so happy ______ she _______ sit down.
今回の問題は[too～不定詞]を
[so ～ that —can’t(couldn’t)]に変える問題になります。
意味はどちらも同じ（とても～なので・・・できない）となります。
too は so に変えます。
不定詞の to を that に変えます。
そして「主語]＋[can’t(couldn’t)]＋[動詞]～．の形になります。
それではあてはめていきましょう。
She is too happy to sit down.
↓ ↓ [can’t(couldn’t)]
She is so happy ______ she _______ sit down.
She is so happy that she can’t sit down.
（彼女はとても幸せなので座ることができません)
（３）It is not an easy thing to live in a foreign country.
__________ __________ in a foreign country is not an easy thing.
この文章は(１)の文章と反対に(仮主語)It をなくして、
(真主語)を先頭に持ってくる文章になります。
仮主語＋ 動詞 ＋ 補語 ＋ 真主語
It is not an easy thing to live in a foreign country
主語 ＋ 動詞 ＋ 補語 の形にしてみましょう。
to live in a foreign country is not an easy thing
To live in a foreign country is not an easy thing.
(外国に住むことは簡単なことではない）
（４）He was so busy that he couldn’t go on a trip.
He was _______ busy ________ go on a trip.
今回の文章は ｛so ～ that …（can’t[couldn’t])—｝ の文章を
｛too ～ 不定詞ｰｰｰ｝の文章に変えます。
もちろんどちらの意味も「とても～なので・・・できない」となります。
He was so busy that he couldn’t go on a trip.
